(2006, Gamelab) Lego Fever

Not many people know about this one, but it's just a fun lego puzzle game composed of minigames. These minigames are mostly about placing the right lego blocks, about creating the right path for the main character, keeping in mind how many items and energy you have, another tetris-like puzzle with similar rules and a couple more. Not much to the lore besides transforming the modern world of minimum wage office cubicle workers being "gray and boring" into a "fun and colorful" reality the Lego characters bring for everyone. Might be an unpopular opinion but I personally really like the office work "stickman-like signs" aesthetic of the 2000s. You might enjoy it as well. Really relaxing game and fun, used to play the demo of this game back when I was a kid when it was available on the Big Fish Games launcher. I also contributed to "unlocking" the trial executable file into the full version for the people at myabandonware.com. The second link is from my own MEGA account.

Warning: Antivirus might detect as malware. Tried on all the versions provided, unfortunately they all seem to have a detection rate. If you feel too uncomfortable running it, you can always try running a Virtual Machine like Windows XP through VirtualBox for more safety.
I won't include a tutorial here, but it's easy to find a tutorial for it online.

(2002, Interaction Studios) Chicken Invaders: The Next Wave

Came across this one when I was about 5 years old when I saw my uncle playing it on his computer. I was immediately amazed with the gameplay, the effects, the mechanics... Used to look for a pirated version of it constantly (since my parents did not have a credit card) in 4shared and stuff like that, probably downloaded a lot of viruses lol. Regardless, not much to the lore besides saving the Solar System from a chicken invasion, going through from Pluto all the way to the Sun, that's how you proceed in stages. Collect fried chicken as you shoot them down for points, avoid the eggs which kil you, survive asteroid waves and defeats bosses. You can also play locally with 2 players (with keyboard, mouse and/or controllers). I prefer the second game, since the music (soundchip version) is just better and funkier, the graphics are nostalgic and the mechanics are simpler. Me and my cousins loved to play it, I struggled to find a pirated version for it back in the day (since my parents didn't have a credit card to buy it for me online lol), but now it's really accessible, even though it's paid. Xmas version is really nice as well, with fun little alternate skins. Pros of the Steam version: Really accessible, add it to your collection and catch it at a nice discount. Xmas version DLC. Cons? It's not the classic soundchip version, only the IA website version.

Google Play (Discontinued)

Warning: Since it's no longer available on Google Play, you can find an .apk installer for android devices on third party websites, however do it at your own risk.

Maybe Google will allow it to be uploaded again, who knows? ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

If you don't want to buy it, IA studios has made the very first Chicken Invaders game for free on their website, visually similar to CI2 and still rather fun if you want to try it out.

(1988, John Romero) Dangerous Dave

[Abandonware]

Another nostalgic gem from my childhood. This one was mostly played my my dad and most family members from my paternal family. I assume they had one of those old PCs from the 80s and this game came with it. They managed to find all warp zones, bugs and features that probably weren't intended lol. It's a classic pixelated platformer. Just fun, simple. 10 levels, bonuses and stuff. Kill enemies with the gun, fly and skip obstacles with the jetpack, grab gems, get the trophy, reach the door. That's pretty much it, give it a go.

Online Browser Version 2(No Download!): Play Dos Games

Warning: If you opt for the download, you'll probably need a DOS emulator like DosBox since this is a really old software and won't run on Windows versions newer than Vista lol. Just play the online version, it's easier.
