"Daily New Freeware Games"

Yeah, the bookmarks will also be more about nostalgic content for me than anything else, so as a start, this will be the first website. I'm a sucker for old lost internet games, animation, flash media, etc. There's just so much unrealized talent in them. Unfortunately, Rudy Versele, the founder of this website has passed away in 2010, however I'm thankful for the currents owners to keep it running. It's a piece of history. Most of the games I played from here had to do with Sonic or Mario (specifically Neo Sonic Universe and Super Mario DOS). None of them are official of course, but this is all I had back in the day hahah. It's fun, it's memorable. I suggest you check it out, some of them are rather impressive. If you're 2000's old school like me, then you probably will.

"Michael Gibson's Interactive Mystery"

Man, am I glad this website is still up! Even if it wasn't, at least I know plenty of people kept this content backed up somewhere. So the story behind this was, I was an ordinary 7 year old kid browsing through Newgrounds and Flash CD games that used to be sold at newspaper stores (Yes, this was a thing. Back in the day, the internet was too slow to play flash games since it was dial-up, so instead people downloaded flash games into a CD-rom and sold it, since it was more practical). And yes, Newgrounds is not a place for a 7 year old to be in, you're correct, but no one stopped me, I guess. Lol. Either way, these games such as "Ambition" on the title, "Move or Die" (Ambition Gaiden) and "Altered States" are great. They're dramas involving dialogue interactions between other people. You have to learn to negotiate and decipher people's intentions. I find them quite interesting, despite many people making fun of them online (mostly because of some of the voice acting and animations). But they're still quite entertaining. Games like "Ambition" and "Move or Die" have such an aura of mystery surrounding them, it just hooks my attention directly. Fun fact is I didn't speak english as a kid, so I understood nothing back then, however it was this mysterious atmosphere behind these games that kept them within my memory and then I finally decided to revisit them. I kinda wish to meet Michael Gibson personally someday and just talk to him about these lol...

(You will need an .swf runner extension like Ruffle to run the website features and games)

"Lenny Loosejocks and Donga Are Back!"

Remember what I mentioned earlier about those CD-roms for sale? (Usually made by this brazillian company called "Digerati" at the time, which has long since shut down), one of these games inside was Lenny Loosejocks. A simple guy in space adventures with his dog in this point and click puzzle that was typical at the time. It's funny, goofy, interesting, relaxing. They feature many of their other works in there but Lenny was their biggest success. I encourage you to go take a look and discover another hidden and forgotten gem.
